If you are interested in donating anything for Family Night, the below items are some things we are looking for! We are accepting donations of these items between now and Thursday November 1st.
Donations can be dropped off at either the middle or elementary school offices, just let the staff know that it is for Family Night! Thank you!
Join us for a Spirit Night on October 29th, 2018 at Hwy 55 (on Wayne Memorial). Spirit Night will last from 5:00pm to closing and WPA will get 10% of all sales!

In preparation for Hurricane Michael, WPA will be closed Thursday, Oct. 11th. On Friday, Oct. 12th, WPA will be operating on a 3-hour delay.
The new date for the ribbon cutting for the middle school building is October 16th, 2018 at 5pm. Everyone is invited! A reception will follow the ribbon cutting ceremony.
This coming Monday, October 8th, we will be honoring a founding Board member, Mr John Ankeney, for his years of service at WPA. We will meet at the Middle School Media Center at 5pm. We hope that you will join the Board in coming to share with him and his wife, Pauline, how much you appreciate his dedication to the success of WPA and his heart for the staff, scholars, and families.
We will have a parent meeting 10/18 @ 5:15 in media center. There will be boys and girls basketball tryouts on 10/22- girls tryouts will be from 3:20-4:30pm and boys tryouts will be from 4:30-6:00pm. The tryouts will be closed tryouts (no parents will be able to watch). In order to tryout, scholars must have a sports physical and a 2.5 GPA. Please drop off all physicals to the front office and Coach Wright will collect them.

Training for substitute teachers will take place on October 8th at 2pm in the media center at the middle school. This training is open to anyone interested in being a substitute teacher at WPA! Please bring your social security card, ID, TB skin test, and a voided check (if you are interested in direct deposit). If you have any questions please email Ms. Thomas at email@example.com.

The current projected opening date for the ELC is January 2019! Updated info about the program will be added to it's page under the Ready Groups tab. (https://www.wpanc.org/early-learning-center.html) If you have not yet submitted an application, you can through that link or by picking up a paper version at the elementary school front office. The current plans are still for the center to be open from 6:30am-6:00pm; the registration fee is $135 and the weekly fee (which will cover breakfast, lunch, and snack) will also be $135.
